The latest Japanese Pokemon release s11a, Incandescent Arcana, is right around the corner! The set drops on September 2nd and is one of the most anticipated sets since Eevee Heroes. By this point, almost all of the cards have been revealed, including some of the Trainer Gallery subset cards.
Incandescent Arcana accounts for half of the English equivalent, Silver Tempest, which will be released in early November. This means we will be getting our hands on the new VSTAR Pokemon! Alolan Vulpix VSTAR is the lead of the expansion. She shows up on the Elite Trainer Box and some of the pack art. Other dazzling VSTARs being released are Mawile and Serperior. October’s Paradigm Trigger rounds out Silver Tempest and will reveal to us the remaining VSTARs.
Incandescent Arcana continues both the Trainer Gallery and Radiant Rare trend. It boasts some of the most beautiful cards we have seen yet. Radiant Alakazam and Jirachi will likely be very popular to collectors. Also, keep an eye out for Gardevoir and Milotic from the Trainer Gallery; the art is breath-taking.
Due to the insanely high anticipation of the Japanese set, many stores will not be accepting pre-orders -- Nexgen included. It will be difficult to keep up with the overwhelming demand. However, keep an eye on the website for when the set makes it to the shop on September 9th. You will be able to purchase it while supplies last. Feel free to trade in those cards, and check for trade-ins one week after the set drops.
