(Japanese: バトルパートナーズ • Battle Partners)
is the name given to the ninth Japanese expansion of cards released during the Pokémon Trading Card Game's Scarlet & Violet Era.It will be released IN JAPAN on January 24, 2025.
Battle Partners will be released in Japan on January 24, 2025.[1] Each booster box contains 30 booster packs. It was officially revealed during the Latest News presentation on Day 1 of the Osaka Champion's League 2025 competition held from December 21-22, 2024. A short teaser of the featured cards was revealed on August 18, 2024 during the closing ceremony of the 2024 Pokémon World Championships.[2]
The expansion features the return of Trainer's Pokémon[3], a game mechanic originally introduced in the Gym Heroes expansion. The booster pack for the expansion features N and Zoroark, Lillie and Clefairy, Hop and Zacian, and Iono and Bellibolt.
Releasing on the same day will be the Battle Partners Deck Build Box, the Collection File Set N, and the Collection File Set Lillie. Those who buy a booster box of the expansion will receive an SV-P Promo Iono's Wattrel.
I ordered multiple pre orders, and the release day of the products were weeks apart. Even though they had my Surging sparks booster boxes in hand and could have canceled due and sell at market price and make double the profit. They delivered as promised. I will definitely buy again.
Box was a lot of fun to open, lots of variety and items that people actually would want and not random items that the seller couldn’t get rid of. Opened with my brother and look forward to purchasing another one soon. (Also paid for the XL mystery box and got $230 in value, PokePlug does some of the best mystery boxes out there for sure)
